Aluminium Fabrications

Format hand build curved composite panels manufactured from PVF2 precoated steel sheet, utilising customers edge extrusions to achieve joint detail. We can convert most trapezoidal or sinusoidal insulated profiled panels to form mitred corners. Aluminium and steel precoated materials are suitable in most profiles with foam or mineral wool insulation. Jointing methods have been developed to achieve an excellent finish on either side of the composite construction.

    Sinusoidal profile 90º external corner produced from PVF2 coated steel sheets with 50mm thick PU insulation, with 500mm legs.

    Mitred Composite Profiled Corner

    38 mm deep trapezoidal profile 90° external corners produced from plastisol coated steel sheets with 60 mm thick PU insulation, with 400 mm and 1000 mm odd leg configuration.

Mitred Profiled Composite Corners

Mitred Flat Composite Corners

Format can convert most flat or microrib panels to produce mitred corners. External and internal corners can be produced without the need to cut the outer face. Most customer materials can be converted irrespective of insulant type of thickness.

    Microrib finished 90 degree external corner produced from PVF2 coated steel with 70mm thick PU Insulation with White Liner to inside face, and 500 x 500 equal return legs.

    Microrib finished 90 degree double cranked external corners produced from PVF2 coated steel with 70mm thick PU Insulation with White Liner to inside face, and 500 x 600 x 500 configuration.

Composite Cladding

Format hand build spherical corner components during manufacture. Designed and made to complement straight curved sections. we can convert most flat or microrib panels to produce curves. Horizontal and vertical curves can be achieved with a panel radius along the length or across the width. Most customers’ materials can be converted irrespective of face material or insulation type and thickness. Part curved panels with straight tangent legs can also be manufactured. Our thin skin composite cladding is a hand built composite flat panel systems produced from customers specific flat material or from aluminium, zinc or coated metals. Insulation type and requirements designed to suit individual requirements.

Insulated Fascia Systems

Aluminium purpose made soffit and fascia systems can be designed to suit customers’ individual needs. Polyester powder coated components can have insulation bonded to the rear faces to provide for insulation requirements and to give additional stiffness.

Insulated Flashings

Flashings and pressings of all gauges and metals lend themselves to factory bonding of insulation to increase stiffness, flatness and insulation values. Plastic foam board and mineral wool materials can be successfully bonded to achieve customers needs.

    PPC Aluminium Curtain Wall pressings with 50mm and 55mm thick bonded insulation. Aluminium flat balancer to rear. This particular component has been pre-punched with fixing holes and has 4mm thick insulation material bonded to all flanges. Product to be installed by MagHansen for commercial offices in Edinburgh.
